In case you didn’t know, the annual Holiday Fair & Craft Bazaar is this weekend. This is THE annual event where the entire school community is out in full force to have fun and support our school. What’s best is that we are joined by hundreds of others from around the region who come to the Fair for many reasons: to learn about great vendors who make some incredible things; to dip candles, turn their own jump rope (that is, make their own jump rope), work the cider press, and more!
Wait, though, there’s more. One of the more unique things about the Fair is our Children’s Shopping Room. Children enter on their own and are assisted by parent volunteers inside the room to choose handmade gifts for everyone on their list. The Children’s Shopping Room joins together the growth, wonder, and independence that is alive in a Waldorf school.
Friday, November 22nd: 6 pm – 10 pm, Admission is Free
Leave the kids at home for a date night or a night out with friends – or both! Enjoy first pick at the vendor’s wares, a gourmet meal for purchase prepared lovingly by WSP parents Pat Fiorella, Maggie Davis, and Mark Mebus, of Blackbird Pizzeria in Bella Vista, along with a variety of delicious parent-baked desserts.
